SUCCESS STORIES : CRISIS MANAGEMENT

A Franco-German team delivered a prototype within time
and solved a contract of 250 million US$

  • Situation : JPB was asked to intervene when a Franco-German team had to face a serious crisis. They were supposed to deliver a prototype to the customer within 3 months. They pretended to need 6 more months and declared that it will be impossible to respect the delay.

  • "Emotional viruses" : Team members refused to continue to work together because there was no more confidence, proposals and solutions were mutually refused, commitments not respected.

  • mentalmerger® Action : We stared with a separated perception gathering to get an overview, identify blocking "emotional viruses" and get accepted as neutral mediator.

We then worked with the team in a 3.5 days (and nights) workshop to clarify the interpersonal difficulties and clear up the past by inviting the team members to verbalize their specific points of frustration, accept the partners point of view and propose individual and group behavioral changes for the future.

  • Result : Team members commonly decided to continue the project, they found new solutions and finally delivered the prototype in time and solved a contract of 250 million US$.
